A bunch of friends have been enjoying the SW winter winds at Ferrol estuary. Freeride kit was the call for today, though some have put their Formula kit through its paces. Welcome Miliet! and good winds and warm water for all.
Thanks for joining my blog - hope you enjoy it. I suppose your wind conditions are a bit the same as ours , by that I mean the wind comes with the frontal systems. But I think you must get alot more wind in NW Spain than we do here in the middle of the Mediterranean. The past few days has been really windy here in Malta, but it was not possible to sail yesterday cos it was raining all day so the wind was too unstable - 10 minutes of force 8 and 10 minutes of force 0 all day long!
ReplyDeleteHi Bunty thanks you too for joining mine!
ReplyDeleteYou're very kind.
Yes we get wind from frontal systems in the winter, like in UK. In summer its more like trade winds, caused by the Azores high pressure, they get stronger in the afternoon.
You live in a very nice place, I like the beautiful photos of your blog.
All the best!
Hola Magnum.
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo
