Old gear. Material viejo.

No puedes fiarte nunca mucho del material viejo. Ayer consegui escaparme a Esmelle, cuando me acercaba en coche a la playa parecía que había poca ola pero mucho viento, una sola vela en el agua, no podía creerme tanta suerte. Pero el asunto no acabó tan bién. La gopro no arrancó, debía haberme asegurado de llevar pilas nuevas. :-(  Luego en el agua, viento justo, costaba planear y en la rompiente te quedabas sin viento a menudo. Entraron algunas series que como siempre me pillaron mal colocado, aunque alguna conseguí pillar...antes de romper la botavara. El detalle bueno de la tarde fue ver a Eloy entrar a navegar, seguro que aprovechó mejor las olas que éste menda.
Andrés me envía un link de su Centro/Escuela de Windsurf en el Raso, Windsurf Zona Norte, me parece un proyecto muy sólido y profesional. ¡Suerte Andrés!

You can never trust your old gear. Stay close to shore and near to other sailors, otherwise a broken boom like this could put you in serious trouble. Ventured out yesterday at Esmelle, but conditions were far from ideal. Gusty winds, with big wind holes at the wave break. Many times the wave search is not worth the effort, but some talented sailors like my friend Eloy can always make the most of it.
